What is Numerology?

Have you ever noticed how certain numbers seem to pop up everywhere in your life? Maybe the number four seems to be showing up frequently, or you’ve noticed the number 11 appears in many situations. While this might just be coincidence, others believe that these occurrences are due to some sort of mystical or divine force. This belief is known as numerology, and it’s a practice that can help you uncover your personal strengths and weaknesses.

According to Josh Siegel, a master numerologist with 25 years of experience, numerology is a form of divination that focuses on the use of numbers to uncover knowledge about a person or situation. It is often combined with astrology to predict the future, guide human behavior, and provide insight into relationships.

The premise behind numerology is that everything in the universe is made of energy, and when broken down to its simplest elements, we are left with numbers. Siegel says that the art of numerology is based on the idea that these numbers have unique meanings and carry vibrations that can be found throughout nature, people, events, and objects.

For example, numerologists calculate a person’s life path number by adding up the numbers in their birth date. For example, if a person was born on February 14, 1990, their life path number would be 8 because 2 + 14 + 1990 = 8. Some numbers are more significant than others, and a professional numerologist will likely reduce the final number to determine its meaning. Master numbers, like 11, 22, and 33, are said to carry particularly powerful vibrations.
